Nice meal today. Squash and greens soup with mini meatballs was like a hug from Mom. Mini pizza is a great bang for the buck. The salad, which I ate last a la' French style, was high bar: deep purples, deep greens, sienna toasted almonds, pinkish salmon colored Cara Cara orange---excellent color palette. Flavor popped too: loved the clumps of pickled onion hiding in the greens like naked fat girls. Subtle heat too: in the dressing? Anyway, perfect orchestration.
